With due apologies to my Pathan friends, 'Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa' is just too damn long! And the popular development sector abbreviation: KPK just sounds utterly strange to my NWFP-attuned years. 


*sigh*

Technically, Pakhtunkhwa is just one word so you should use KP instead. Might have send to apologies to Kevin Peterson then.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is definitely shorter than north west frontier province or shumal maghrabi sarhadi sooba. Which looked more like someone hit the get directions button in google while looking for the province and printed that out as name by mistake.
