Today's interesting news story tells of a recently published UN report where there is talk of the dollar being replaced with a 'one-world' currency in order to avoid crazy currency fluctuations. I'm still trying to figure out the implications of this one, is it a very good idea, or a very bad idea I wonder. . .

Also, in case you were wondering, here's 'How to Use Facebook as a Weapon'.

There already exists a "one world" currency, but not in the physical form. Its called SDR

It will probably be a decade or two before the funny money created by fiat by the US treasury is replaced by something more sustainable.

Yes there is a talk of that and with all my heart, even after the knowledge of how ruppee has been acting up (down?), I will still never be okay with the concept. It will invaribly be just another tool through which the US of A will make sure its the God of all of us minion countries ... Qayamat-e-sughran it shall be, i tell ya.
