Apartment hunt day one was a disaster. Mom and I decided to have a quick look at some places on our way back from the airport, and we hated everything we found. The buildings were unkempt, the apartments dingy. It seems two-bed apartments in a nicely maintained (or new) building are in short supply. I have dismal visions of being stuck in Barakaho with no social life and massive amounts of neverending work forever and ever. *argh*

What-to-do-what-to-do?

Thats what you should do!

@Apoo : I second that. A super, rich guy who has his own domain with a page rank of 8/10. What else would you need ? [;)]

Btw, came across this nice piece on Karachi (your hometown ?) :

I just read it, else I would have preferred not sharing it days after you moved out.

I like how everyone is telling me to get married to super-rich guy. The strange assumption is that I am somehow resisting that particular fate. The truth is, it be resisting me! I think I shall write a post-rant on this to further understanding. In the meantime, we have a phrase in Pakistan which we like very much which goes like this: 'hum sab umeed se hain'. :)

Do not write a rant. Write a strategy/business plan on how you could bag the super-rich guy, and us humble readers shall provide suggestions and tweaks to the plan.

Lets get Xeb married to a guy who can buy every apartment in Islamabad!

There are some nice-ish apartments in F10/F11, but they're also rather costly and the commute to your job would be horrible really :|

good luck finding a place!
